Zanoobya association was founded on October 23rd, 2014, and is officially registered under the code 2014T05699APSF1 in the official journal of the Tunisian republic (JORT #167 published on October 26th, 2014). The association is based at 09 rue des Etats-Unis, 1002 Tunis le Belvédère, and its founding board members are as follows:

An event that consists of a series of conferences, workshops and a theatrical play revolving around gender equality of inheritance in Tunisia.
Tribute to leftist women activists of the 70s through a series of lectures, a writing workshop, a theatrical creation and a book.
Lecture series on the manifestations of religiosity in Tunisia. All conferences will be made available on YouTube starting from March 2023. A Book was edited to sum up the content of the conferences.
Renovation of the Echraf primary school in El Haouaria by rebuilding a well-equipped classroom, setting up a sports field, creating several clubs (chess, reading, music and singing) and finally by purchasing and fitting out of a Karrita (Typical Tunisian stage wagon) to ensure the daily transportation of 7 pupils living in a remote village.
The project consists of a queer play, a film, a book, a fashion show and a digital performance. The project is considered the first in Tunisia to sheds lights on the tribulations faced by Tunisian trans individuals while the country struggles to succeed in its post-revolution democratic transition.

11 is a theatrical work devised and directed by Naoufel Azara assisted by Moncef Zahrouni. A somber mise-en-scène with 6 actors on stage to depicts the perilous and tragic life of clandestine migrants who try to flee a country that struggles to offer them dignity, freedom and equal chances... Death lurks deep in the dark blue sea but the infinitesimal hope to reach the Eldorado seems worth the fight...
